One of the new products being introduced by Tecnotubi is the “Cosmos” garden hose. This is composed of six layers, two consisting of polyester reinforcement and four of different types of PVC. The hose, which has been patented by the company, features double polyester reinforcement that combines the positive features of two different technologies, the knitted and braided systems. As the manufacturer explains, knitted reinforcement means flexibility and anti-torsion, while braided reinforcement means strength and high resistance to pressure (up to 45 bar for a ½” hose).
Another important feature is the outer layer, which is made of a special metallized material claimed by the supplier to give the hose an innovative look and a soft feel.
