The Danish supplier Scanheat presents a new product line of solar driven air heaters under the “Scansun” name. As an additional source of energy, the device produces warm air and ventilates the house without any additional costs. Air is taken in at the base of the solar panels, then heated by the sun and blown back into the house by the fan on the back. Even on cold winter days the panel, which is thermostatically controlled, is capable of blowing in air that is 25 - 30 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. The product is intended for the owners of cottages, for example, who are faced with problems caused by damp and cold if the cottage is not heated throughout the year. There are no operating costs because solar energy is used. The panels are suitable for either wall or roof mounting.
